Pessoas que estão a comer uma refeição, especialmente num restaurante. Pode referir-se a qualquer cliente sentado a comer num estabelecimento.

Usada sobretudo em contextos de restauração ou serviços de alimentação. Refere-se aos clientes, não aos empregados. Não confundir com "diner" (restaurante americano); aqui, refere-se sempre às pessoas.
