人や動物が命を失うとき、または機械やバッテリーなどが動かなくなるときに使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「dies」は基本的に「死ぬ」を指しますが、機械や電池の場合は「動かなくなる」「電源が切れる」としても使われます。「dice」（サイ）とは発音も意味も違います。
