「dickens」は、驚きや苛立ち、強調を表す昔の英語の感嘆表現で、「What the dickens?」のように使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に昔の英語や文学作品で使われ、現代英会話ではほぼ使いません。作家チャールズ・ディケンズとは無関係です。「What the dickens?」の形で使われることが多く、現代では「the heck」や「the devil」が多いです。
