露は、屋外の冷えた表面にできる小さな水滴で、通常は朝や夕方の湿度が高いときに現れます。

「Dew」は主に草や植物につく水滴を指しますが、比喩的に新鮮さや純粋さ（例: 'the dew of youth'）を表すこともあります。名詞としてのみ使い、「morning dew」「covered in dew」のようなフレーズが一般的です。'mist'（霧）や'fog'（濃い霧）とは異なります。
