被當局（通常是警察）限制在某處，不能離開。也可以指因為其他原因被耽擱或扣留。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
常用於正式、法律或新聞語境，多與警察或邊境管理有關。也可指耽擱。不要與“arrested”（被逮捕）混淆，“detained”不代表有正式指控。
