Definition

廣闊、乾燥且通常炎熱的地區，幾乎沒有水和植物。有時也指某人應得之物，但這種用法比較少見且正式。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

通常是 desert（沙漠）的複數形式，偶爾在正式語境用於“just deserts”（應得之物），較罕用。不要和“desserts”（甜點）混淆。典型搭配：'撒哈拉和戈壁是沙漠'，'穿越沙漠'。
