'Descendants' औपचारिक शब्द है, आमतौर पर कानूनी, पारिवारिक या ऐतिहासिक प्रसंग में। इसे 'ancestors' (पूर्वज) से न मिलाएँ। आम प्रयोग: 'direct descendants'।
