वंशज वह व्यक्ति है जो किसी विशेष पूर्वज की संतान या उनसे आगे की पीढ़ी में आता है। इसका इस्तेमाल किसी पुराने समूह के वंशज के लिए भी हो सकता है।

'वंशज' पारिवारिक इतिहास और वंशावली में आम शब्द है। 'पूर्वज' (बीते पिढ़ियों) से उल्टा है। अक्सर 'का वंशज' या 'की संतान' के रूप में इस्तेमाल होता है। औपचारिक शब्द है।
