Definition

किसी चीज़ को असत्य बताना या स्वीकार करने से इंकार करना। यह किसी को कुछ देने या करने से मना करने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर औपचारिक या सामान्य रूप में प्रयोग होता है। आम हैं: "denying the truth", "denying access", "denying responsibility"। "refusing" से न फर्क करें ("deny" सच/अनुमति, "refuse" इच्छा से जुड़ा है)।
