妄想とは、現実と異なることを強く信じてしまう誤った考えです。精神疾患の症状として現れることもあります。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「delusion」は精神医学などフォーマルな場面でよく使われますが、日常でも非現実的な思い込みにも使えます。「illusion」（錯覚）や「dream」（夢）とは区別してください。
