Definición

一種暫時性的意識混亂和認知降低狀態，常伴隨躁動或幻覺，通常由疾病、高燒或某些藥物引起。

主要為醫學術語，常在醫院用來形容急性重度意識混亂，尤其常見於老年患者。不要與「妄想」（錯誤信念）混淆。可能有身體或心理成因。
