Sentirse confundido y no poder pensar o hablar con claridad, normalmente debido a una enfermedad o fiebre. También puede significar estar extremadamente emocionado o feliz, casi sin control.

'Delirious' puede usarse tanto en contextos médicos (confusión por enfermedad o fiebre) como en situaciones figuradas para entusiasmo extremo ('delirious with joy'). No se usa para confusión leve.
