Definition

কিছু নিয়ে খুবই খুশি বা আনন্দিত বোধ করা। সাধারণত বিশেষভাবে সন্তুষ্ট, কৃতজ্ঞ বা আনন্দিত থাকলে এই শব্দটি ব্যবহার হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'delighted' শব্দটি 'happy' এর চেয়ে জোরালো ও আরও আনুষ্ঠানিক। 'be delighted with', 'be delighted by', এবং 'be delighted to + ক্রিয়া' ব্যবহার হয়। ভদ্র কথোপকথন ও লেখালিখিতে ব্যাপক ব্যবহৃত: যেমন 'I'd be delighted to help.'
