वह रकम जो बीमा कंपनी भुगतान करने से पहले आपको खुद चुकानी होती है। यह किसी ऐसी चीज़ को भी दर्शा सकता है जो करों के लिए घटाई जा सकती है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

सबसे अधिक बीमा और टैक्स के संदर्भ में उपयोग होता है: बीमा 'deductible' यानी पहले खुद चुकाएं। कर में 'deductible expenses' वे हैं जिन्हें करों से घटाया जा सकता है। यह छूट (discount) जैसा नहीं है।
