太陽が出ていて明るい時間帯のこと、たいていは朝から夕方までを指します。

「昼間」はフォーマル・カジュアルどちらにも使え、仕事の時間だけでなく太陽が出ている時間全体を表します。「昼間に」「昼間のテレビ」などの表現もあります。
