周りのことに注意を向けず、頭の中であれこれ空想すること。たいてい起きているときにリラックスしているときに起こる。

「daydreaming」はカジュアルな表現で、否定的な意味はあまりありませんが、集中力が欠けている印象を与えることも。『caught daydreaming』は「ぼんやりしていたのを気づかれた」意味でよく使われます。
