Definition

夜明けは、太陽が昇る前に空が明るくなり始める時間です。また、何か新しい時代やアイデアの始まりを意味することもあります。

「夜明け」「明け方」は朝早い時間を指します。「夜明け前」「夜明けに」などと使われます。「新時代の夜明け」のように始まりの意味もあります。

We woke up at dawn to catch the first bus.
