暗闇

Definition

光がほとんどない、または全くない状態で、見えにくい、または見えないこと。また、悲しみや絶望、悪を表す比喩的な意味でも使われます。

通常は数えられない名詞として使い、「暗闇の中」「完全な暗闇」などの表現が多いです。比喩では「悲しみ」や「絶望」にも用いられます。
