무엇인가를 알고 싶어하는 마음으로, 또는 다소 이상하거나 놀라운 방식으로 행동하는 것.

주로 동사 앞에 위치함: 'curiously asked'처럼 사용. 'Curiously, nobody...'처럼 문장 첫머리에서 '이상하게도' 의미 있음. 'curiously enough'는 '놀랍게도'의 뜻.

The child looked curiously at the gift.
