अक्सर क्रिया से पहले आता है: 'curiously asked', 'curiously looked'। कभी-कभी 'अजीब तरह से' या 'रोचक रूप से' भी अर्थ देता है। 'curiously' (जिज्ञासा से) और 'curiously enough' (आश्चर्यजनक रूप से) को अलग समझें। सामान्यतः यह औपचारिक/तटस्थ है।
