Definition

雌牛は成長したメスのウシで、多くは牧場で乳や繁殖のために飼われます。日常的には「牛」という言葉で全体のウシを指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

単数形は「雌牛」または「牛」、複数形は「雌牛たち」。本来はメスを指しますが、日常会話ではオスや子牛を含めて「牛」と呼ぶことも多いです。
