スポーツコートのすぐそばのエリアで、特にバスケットボールやテニスの試合を間近で観戦できる席を指します。

主にバスケットボールやテニスで使われる言葉です。'courtside seats'や'courtside view'のような表現でよく使われ、有名人が座る席としても知られています。サッカー場など他のスポーツには使いません。
