يمتلك أو يُظهر الشجاعة؛ قادر على مواجهة الخوف أو الخطر أو المواقف الصعبة دون أن يتوقف بسببها.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

"Courageous" أكثر رسمية قليلاً من "brave". يُستخدم للأشخاص أو الأفعال التي تُظهر قوة أخلاقية أو جسدية. تراكيب شائعة: 'courageous decision', 'courageous act'. لا يُستخدم عادة للأعمال الصغيرة اليومية.
