数えることカウント

Definition

数を順番に言ったり、ものの数を確かめたりする行為。また、お金や票などを合計する作業も含まれます。

'お金を数える', '票のカウント' などの表現でよく使う。『カウンティングマシーン』は『計数機』など。『合計』としての 'count' とは異なる。

The child is counting from one to ten.

子供が1から10まで**数えています**。

She is counting the coins on the table.
