カウンセラーは、精神的な問題や学校、進路などに関してアドバイスやサポートを行う専門家です。

「counselor」は学校やキャンプ、心理カウンセラーなどに使われます。「councilor」（議員）とは異なります。アメリカでは「counselor」はセラピストを指すことも多いです。
