病気や喉の刺激で、突然大きな音とともに息を吐き出すこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「coughing」は咳が継続的な動作や症状として使われます。「咳き込み始める」「咳が止まらない」などの表現が一般的です。意図的な咳払いには別の言葉を使います。
