'Coughing' 'cough' का continuous रूप है, ongoing action या बीमारी के लक्षण के लिए बोला जाता है। आम तौर पर 'start coughing', 'keep coughing', 'coughing fit' जैसे वाक्यांशों में आते हैं। जानबूझकर या हल्की खांसी के लिए 'clear your throat' कहते हैं।
