隅（すみ）角（かど）

Definition

「隅」や「角」は２つの線や面が交わる場所を指し、部屋やテーブルの角などに使われます。また、場所の目立たない部分にも使われます。

複数の場合「隅」「角」を使います。部屋、通り、ページの隅や見えにくい所に使われます。「cutting corners」は手抜きを意味します。

There are four corners in this room.

この部屋には四つの**隅**があります。
