打撲傷挫傷 (医学用語)

Definition

皮膚は破れていないが、血管が損傷し、青あざや変色が起こるケガのこと。一般的には「青あざ」と呼ばれます。

「打撲傷」は医療用語、「青あざ」は会話で多用。皮膚が切れていない場合に使い、『すりきず』『切り傷』とは異なります。

He has several contusions on his arm after the fall.

転倒後、彼の腕にはいくつかの**打撲傷**がある。
