경연, 게임쇼, 스포츠 등에서 이기기 위해 경쟁하는 사람들을 말합니다.

주로 복수형으로 쓰이며, 적극적으로 승리를 노리는 사람을 가리킵니다. 'competitors'와 비슷하지만 게임쇼 등에서 더 자주 씁니다. 'judge'나 'host'와는 다릅니다.
