考えるみなす

Definition

決断を下す前に物事をよく考えたり、人や物について特定の見方を持つこと。

「consider」はやや形式的な語で、意思決定や他人の意見を尊重する時によく使われます。「considers that」「considers as」「considers to be」などの組み合わせが一般的です。「think about」とは異なります。

She considers every option before choosing.

彼女は選ぶ前にすべての選択肢を**考える**。

He considers her to be his best friend.

彼は彼女を自分の親友だと**みなす**。

The team considers the project a success.

チームはこのプロジェクトを成功と**みなす**。

My boss rarely considers my suggestions, unfortunately.
