무엇인가에 대해 불만이나 불편함, 불평을 표현하는 것. 일상적으로나 공식적으로 문제를 제기할 때 쓸 수 있다.

보통 'about'(~에 대해), 'that'(~라고)에 이어 사용. 불평을 자주 하면 부정적으로 보일 수 있음.

The guests complained about the cold room.

손님들이 방이 춥다고 **불평했다**.
