力や規則、強い気持ちにより、どうしても何かをしなければならないと感じる状態。自分の意思と関係なく行動する場合に使います。

'Compelled' は日常的な行動よりも、強い力や規則に従い仕方なく何かをする、比較的フォーマルな文脈で使われます。'compelled to' や 'compelled by' とよく一緒に使います。
