Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルや学術的な場面で使われる名詞。よく使われる表現：'in comparison with/to'（〜と比べて）、'make a comparison'（比較する）、'draw a comparison'（比較を引き出す）。動詞としては使わず、動詞は 'compare' を使う。'contrast' は違いを強調する点で異なる。
