２つ以上のものについて、似ている点や違う点を比べてみること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'比べる'は三人称単数現在形で、主語が「彼」「彼女」「それ」のときによく使います。「to」（類似点）や「with」（違い）と一緒に使われることが多いです。'contrast'と混同しないようにしましょう。
