主に悪いこと（犯罪など）を行うこと。または、何かに全力を注ぐ、約束する意味でも使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'committing'は悪い行動（'committing a crime'のような）か、前向きな決意（'committing to a relationship'など）に使われます。簡単な作業には使いません。『committing a crime』『committing to a goal』『committing oneself』のような表現でよく用います。
