কাউকে বা কিছু ভালো কাজ অথবা কৃতিত্বের জন্য সরকারিভাবে বা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে প্রশংসা করার ঘোষণা বা পুরস্কার।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Commendation' সাধারণত অফিসিয়াল স্বীকৃতি, প্রশংসাপত্র, বা পুরস্কারের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'letter of commendation', 'commendation for bravery' ইত্যাদি সরকারী কারণেই বলা হয়। সাধারণ বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ প্রশংসার জন্য নয়।
