Definition

垂直的建築支柱，也可以指表格或印刷品中的垂直分欄。"柱子"同時指建築支撐物和資訊分區。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

“Columns” 可以指建築中的柱子，也用於表格、報紙等的直向分欄。表格中 columns 是直的，rows 是橫的。常見用法有 newspaper columns、supporting columns、table columns，勿與 rows (橫列) 或 lines (文字行) 混淆。
