Definition

赤や青、緑など、光によって見えるさまざまな見た目。複数の色を指すときに使う。

'colours'は複数形で使う。1つなら'colour'。日本語の「色」も文脈で単数・複数になる。比喩表現（「本性を現す」など）にも用いられる。

I like painting with different colours.

私はいろいろな**色**で絵を描くのが好きです。
