Definition

山の尾根上で２つの頂の間にある最も低い場所で、登山道や峠道として使われることが多い地形です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

登山や地形図、登山計画書など専門的な文脈で使われます。日常会話ではほとんど使いません。「サドル（鞍部）」と似ていますが全く同じとは限りません。
