生物や製品、アイデアなどの全く同じ複製。特に生物学や技術分野で、DNAが同一な生物を指す場合に使われる。

主に科学や技術の文脈で使われます。「human clones」「plant clones」「software clones」などの表現によく現れます。『twins』や一般的な『copies』とは異なります。
