Definition

時計は、時間を表示する道具で、数字や針で時間を示します。たいてい家や学校、公共の場所に置かれます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「時計」は腕時計（watch）ではなく、壁や机などに置く時間表示機器を指します。スマホなどのデジタル機器は含みません。

Examples

There are two clocks in the classroom.

教室には**時計**が2つあります。

Grandpa collects old clocks.
