气候是指一个地区在很长时间内的总体天气状况。它也可以指情况或地方的氛围或气氛。

通常指长期的区域性天气状况，不是指今天的天气。也可引申为比喻意义，如“政治气候”、“经济气候”。常见搭配有“气候变化”、“热带气候”。不要与 'weather'（天气、短期情况）混淆。
