教会などで宗教儀式を執り行う、正式に任命・教育された人々の集まり。特にキリスト教で使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「聖職者」は集合名詞で、牧師や司祭などキリスト教の宗教指導者全体を指します。「信徒」と区別します。一般の参拝者は含まれません。
