都市や市は多くの人が住み、働く大きくて重要な町です。独自の行政や多くのサービスが整っています。

『都市』や『市』は『町』（town）より大きく、設備やサービスが充実しています。『capital city』（首都）とは区別してください。公式・非公式どちらでも使います。
