围绕某物以圆形路线移动，或反复围着转。也可以指等待或在谈话中犹豫不决。

既可指实际物体环绕运动（如鸟在天上盘旋），也可指比喻用法（说话时绕圈不谈重点）。常见搭配有“不断盘旋”。很少形容快速或直线运动。
