円は、中心から等しい距離にある点でできた丸い形です。また、共通の興味を持つ人々の集まりも指します。

普通は形を示す名詞として使います（例：'draw a circle', 'sit in a circle'）。'social circle'は人間関係のグループという意味でも使われます。動詞の場合、「〜を回る」という動きを表します（例：鳥が上空を回る）。
