基督徒聚集礼拜的建筑物，也可以指基督教宗教团体。

'church' 只用于基督教的礼拜场所，不用于其他宗教。既可以指教堂建筑，也可以指教会组织。说 'go to church'（去教堂）通常指参加礼拜活动。大写 'Church' 常指天主教等特定教会组织。
