Definition

「chunks」とは、何かの厚みがある大きめの部分や固まりを指します。食品や物、情報などの大きな部分に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に食品の大きな塊（例：chunks of chocolate）、壊れた物の大きな部分や、情報のまとまり（例：learn in chunks）に使います。小さいまたは滑らかなピースには使いません。
