指悄悄地笑，通常是因為某事有點好笑或有趣而發出小聲笑。

“Chuckle” 指小聲輕笑，比 “laugh” 更含蓄，比 “giggle” 少了童趣感。通常與 “to yourself” 搭配，表示是自己偷笑。
